National Paediatric Advice and Guidance can be accessed via the consultant connect app, available throughout the day.

• West Herts Consultant connect/ Paeds Hotline is available between 12noon-2pm at West Herts Hospitals (WHTH): 01923436672.
• Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) consultant advice line can be used to get consultant advice 12.30pm-1.30pm: 01279 652556 for switchboard (GP referral line bypass number), 0 for operator and ask for the Paediatric Hot-week consultant.

Community Nurses:

South and West Hertfordshire: Community nursing team: 07827954082 

West Essex : Community nursing team: 01279 342163 ​​​​​​​.

East and North Hertfordshire: No community nursing services available, therefore families should be referred to Urgent Care or A&E.
