Bleeding in pregnancy

When you are pregnant, it can be normal to have bleeding after sex, if you are worried call your Midwife. If you experience bleeding after sex it may be nothing to worry about but it may be something that needs to be looked into more, so call your midwife or GP

If the blood flow is running down your legs then you need to call for an ambulance immediately.

There are many different causes of bleeding in later pregnancy and these need to be investigated by your maternity hospital to monitor your baby to rule out any problems.
